LILLIAN AXE: New Album Due In April

January 2, 2007

LILLIAN AXE guitarist Steve Blaze has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"It just turned midnight on New Year's Eve 2006, and I can't believe how much has happened this year. Julie [Steve's fiancée] and I dealt with her [breast] cancer, we got engaged, LILLIAN got a new record deal, and the vampire movie is back on track. The release date for 'Water's Rising' is April, and we are now in the process of finalizing the album art. NLE [NEAR LIFE EXPERIENCE] is starting to record a new record in two weeks, and ANGEL will record a new album before the summer.

"I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for your continual support, even though we make you wait so long for new music (Julie says it will be worth the wait!). I also plan on starting a new solo album this year....if I could put out a new record every week I would.

"My New Year's resolution is to be more patient with people, even though I would prefer to physically harm a lot of them for their stupidity, but I will try to relax and realize that they are only human : ) I also plan on eating more healthy with Julie's help. I have way too much music left to create.

"I hope everyone is safe, healthy, and right with God.

"Julie thanks everyone for the prayers and support that have helped her get through this tough year and wishes you all happiness and blessings."
